Thanks, Jim. I just realized that I forgot to include the cost of fret wire. I think that was around $3, which makes the total cost for me fall somewhere between $85 and $90. Oh, and thanks for the mandolin chord chart! I've been practicing the changes for a few simple songs. A mando is fun to play. I need to get a strap, though. I'm finding it really hard to figure out to hold the little thing.

Yeah you need a strap . I use the inexpensive leather ones from stewmac . will make it a ton easier to play.

They are alot of fun to buiild to arnt they . [:Y:]
